Kiley joined the CCB in December 2016 as a Flatiron Research Fellow and studied human-dog comparative cancer genomics. In 2021, she started her lab at the University of Florida as an assistant professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science and Engineering. The Graim Lab builds computational genomics models to study human diseases and artificial intelligence (AI) models for developing novel immunotherapeutics. Her lab recently won its first external grant — a Katz Early-Stage Investigator Research Project Grant from the National Cancer Institute — for which they will be studying the evolution of cancer across hundreds of mammalian species.
