Quantum Embedding Methods

Quantum embedding methods are theoretical approaches to study strongly correlated systems, both for simple models and for materials or molecules, which are formulated in terms of an atom coupled to an effective environment. A famous example is dynamical mean-field theory (DMFT) and its extensions. At CCQ, we are developing the next generation of quantum embedding methods, which allows us, for example, to include the effect of long-range bosonic fluctuations and various algorithms to solve their effective quantum impurity models.
