Founded in 1964 by the late Nobel Laureate Abdus Salam, the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) is a driving force in the global effort to advance science in the developing world. By supporting forefront research, hosting high-level scientific conferences and conducting advanced training schools, the ICTP provides an international forum for scientific collaboration for scientists world-wide. The Simons Foundation is proud to support the ICTP Associates program, which enables outstanding researchers from developing countries to maintain long-term scientific contact with the ICTP.
