“The Most Unknown” Available on Netflix, Youtube [Updated]

The Most Unknown, a film produced by Motherboard in association with Science Sandbox, that appeared in theaters during the summer of 2018 is now available for streaming as a documentary feature on Netflix. A supplemental series featuring extra footage and scientist profiles is also now available on Youtube as part of a multiplatform release strategy.
Directed by Emmy Award-nominated and Peabody Award-winning documentarian Ian Cheney (The Search for General Tso, The City Dark) and advised by renowned filmmaker Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man, Encounters at the End of the World), the film is an epic documentary that features nine scientists going to extraordinary parts of the world to uncover unexpected answers to some of humanity’s biggest questions: How did life begin? What is time? What is consciousness? How much do we really know? What emerges is a deeply human trip to the foundations of discovery and a powerful reminder that the unanswered questions are the ones most worth asking.
The film had its world premiere at the Copenhagen International Film Festival (CPH:DOX) on March 16, 2018. Organizers selected this film to open the festival’s CPH:SCIENCE program. Read more here.
