Dimitris Vavylonis, Ph.D.

Professor, Physics, Lehigh University

Dimitris Vavylonis is a Professor of Physics at Lehigh University in Bethlehem PA. His research group focuses on mathematical and computational modeling of mechanisms in cell division, motion, and polarization. During his sabbatical leave, he will visit the CCB to collaborate in the development of models and computational methods that provide a better understanding of biophysical processes driven by cytoskeletal and membrane flows.
