Aishwarya Balwani

Aishwarya Balwani is an Electrical and Computer Engineering Ph.D. candidate at Georgia Tech, where her doctoral research investigates the role of inter-areal feedback and architectural bias on learning in the canonical cortical microcircuit. More broadly, she is interested in computational neuroscience, machine learning, and learning theory, with an emphasis on the low-dimensional structure and geometry of representations in artificial and biological neural networks. Her work at the CCN with Dr. SueYeon Chung propitiously falls in the interior of the convex polytope defined by these interests. Aishwarya holds an MS in ECE from Georgia Tech, and a BE in Electronics & Telecommunication from the University of Mumbai, India. She maintains her personal website at: https://aishwaryahb.github.io
