Dominik Neuenfeld

Perimeter Institute

Dominik Neuenfeld is a postdoc at the Perimeter Institute of Theoretical Physics. Originally from Germany, he graduated with a M.S. from the University of Heidelberg. After spending one year as a teaching assistant at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Senegal, Neuenfeld continued his graduate education at the University of British Columbia, Canada. He obtained his Ph.D. under the joint supervision of Gordon Semenoff and Mark Van Raamsdonk. His work aims at a better understanding of quantum gravity by investigating the infrared structure of gauge theories and gravity, as well as studying the AdS/CFT correspondence through a quantum information-theoretic lens.
