Kathleen Chen

Guest Researcher, CCB, Flatiron Institute

Kathleen is working on methods that analyze large-scale experimental data compendia in order to improve our understanding of how, and which, genes work together to produce a particular disease state. Chen received her B.A. in biochemistry and computer science from the University of Pennsylvania in May 2017. From 2015 to 2017, she was an undergraduate research fellow for the Penn Institute of Biomedical Informations in Casey Greene’s lab. In the summer of 2016, she was a software engineering intern at MongoDB and a hackNY fellow.
