Rachel Cochrane, Ph.D.

Flatiron Research Fellow, Galaxy Formation, CCA, Flatiron Institute

Rachel Cochrane joins us as a Flatiron Research Fellow. Rachel earned her PhD in Astronomy from the Institute for Astronomy in Edinburgh and completed her undergrad in Physics from Newnham College, University of Cambridge. Prior to joining CCA, Rachel was a John Harvard Distinguished Science Fellow at the Center for Astrophysics, Harvard & Smithsonian. Rachel is the recipient of the Royal Astronomical Society Travel Grant, the International Astronomical Union Travel Grant, and the Kavli Summer Program in Astrophysics Fellowship among other honors and awards.
