Tri Nguyen

Research Analyst, Galaxy Formation, CCA, Flatiron Institute

Tri Nguyen joined the Center for Computational Astrophysics in August 2022 as a Research Analyst. At the CCA, Tri develops machine learning methods to generate galaxy merger trees, which encode key information about the galaxy formation process, from cosmological N-body simulations. Tri is a Ph.D. candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he explores various applications of machine learning in dark matter detection in the Milky Way and its satellite galaxies.
