Yuxuan Liu

Guest Researcher, CCN, Flatiron Institute

Yuxuan Liu is a physics undergraduate from Peking University (PKU) and a guest researcher of the Center for Computational Neuroscience (CCN), Flatiron Institute. His research interest is systems and computational neuroscience. He’s now working with Dr. Dmitri (Mitya) Chklovskii on exploring a new strategy for fitting of nonlinear model of sensory neurons. His previous research focused on using biologically plausible models to explain features in olfactory information processing, with a recent work on short-term plasticity and divisive normalization. Yuxuan will complete his undergraduate study in 2022.
