Alexander Genkin is a Sr. Research Scientist at the Chklovskii lab, Neuroscience Institute, NYU Langone Health. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Institute for Information Transmission Problems, Russian Academy of Sciences. He has done research in clustering algorithms, text analytics, image processing, neurally plausible algorithms. He has also worked in industry, developing machine learning software for marketing and finance. Alexander’s interests lie in machine learning and computational neuroscience.
