Alice Bodón, M.A.

Senior Manager, Center Administration, Center for Computational Mathematics, Flatiron Institute

Alice comes to the Simons Foundation with extensive administrative and management experience. Prior to joining the foundation, she held several positions at New York University working in various divisions, including University Development and Public Affairs, the Faculty of Arts and Science Dean’s Office, and Global Programs and University Life in the Provost’s Office.

She is committed to creating a more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace, and is currently serving as the inaugural co-chair of the Latine Employee Resource Group at the foundation. Additionally, she serves on the DEI Committee at Flatiron Institute.

Alice holds a B.S. from St. John’s University and an M.A. from New York University. She has also worked on film and media projects, as well as fundraising initiatives to provide direct support for those affected by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.
