Enkeleida Lushi joined the Simons Foundation in 2017 as part of the Biophysical Modeling group, where she develops mathematical models and efficient simulation techniques to trace the collective dynamics of large ensembles of active and driven particles in complex geometries and flow conditions. Dr. Lushi earned a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the Courant Institute at New York University, and has previously been a research scientist at Imperial College London, Cambridge University and Brown University.
