Kung-Yi Su, Ph.D.

Flatiron Research Fellow, Galaxy Formation, CCA, Flatiron Institute

Kung-Yi Su joined CCA as a Flatiron Research Fellow in August 2019. He earned his PhD. in Physics from Caltech. Prior to joining CCA, he was a Graduate Research Assistant for TAPIR, Hopkins Group at Caltech. In 2009, he won Lecospa Outstanding Student Research Award. Kung-Yi will develop algorithms and codes for computational astrophysics, analyze large astronomy data sets, develop his own research programs, and work in collaboration with group leaders at CCA.
