Lucia Perez, B.S.

Lucia A. Perez is a Research Analyst at the Center for Computational Astrophysics for the Fall Predoctoral Program. Lucia earned her B.A. in Astrophysics from Wellesley College with time abroad at the University College London. She is currently earning her PhD. from the Arizona State University and works closely with NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Lucia was awarded the Arizona State University Graduate College Fellowship in Spring 2018, Fall 2019, and Spring 2020. She was also a National GEM Consortium University Fellow with the Arizona State University and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from April 2015 to 2017. She is also the recipient of the Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship Honorable Mention in June 2017 and a Fulbright Fellow, Student Program in South Africa from November 2015 to July 2016.
