Michael Eickenberg, Ph.D.

Research Scientist, CCM, Flatiron Institute

Michael Eickenberg joined the Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Mathematics in February 2020. Eickenberg’s work consists in using machine learning methods towards forward and reverse modeling of fMRI brain activity following sensory stimulation. Recently, Eickenberg was a postdoctoral researcher at the Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute at UC Berkeley. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Luxembourg, a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Vision, and Applied Mathematics from École Normale Supérieure de Cachan, and a Ph.D. in Machine Learning and Modeling Applied to Neuroimaging from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI).
