Nick Battaglia, Ph.D.

Associate Research Scientist, Cosmology X Data Science, CCA, Flatiron Institute

Nick Battaglia joined the foundation in 2017 as associate research scientist at the Center for Computational Astrophysics. His research interests include cosmology, the cosmic microwave background, large-scale structure, reionization, galaxy clusters and the Sunyaev-Zel’dovich effect. Since completing his Ph.D. in astronomy and astrophysics at the University of Toronto in 2011, Battaglia has held a McWilliams Postdoctoral Fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University and a Lyman Spitzer Jr. Postdoctoral Fellowship at Princeton University.
