Thomas Callister, Ph.D.

Flatiron Research Fellow, Gravitational Wave Astronomy, CCA, Flatiron Institute

Thomas Callister joined the Center for Computational Astrophysics as a Flatiron Research Fellow. Thomas earned his PhD. in Physics from Caltech, his M. Phil. in Astronomy from the University of Cambridge, and his B.A. from Carlton College. Prior to joining CCA, Thomas was a Graduate Research Assistant in the LIGO Laboratory at Caltech. In 2018, Thomas won the Josephine De Karman Fellowship. In 2017, he won the LSC Graduate Student Poster Prize; and in 2016, he won the Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics, among other honors.
