I joined the Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Biology as an Associate Research Scientist in 2018. My research focuses on learning and normative models in neuroscience.
Prior to joining the neuroscience group at the Flatiron, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the CUNY Graduate Center, where I worked on a variety of problems in theoretical neuroscience. Before that, I was a member of the Institute for Advanced Study, studying statistical properties of protein alignments. I have a Ph.D. in high-energy particle physics from Princeton University.
