Yuval Peled is a Courant Instructor/Assistant Professor in the department of mathematics at NYU’s Courant Institute. He received his Ph.D. from the Hebrew University under the supervision of Nati Linial.
Peled is a researcher in the areas of combinatorics, probability and discrete topology. He is interested in graph theory and studied generalizations of its fundamental concepts to high-dimensional complexes. For instance, his work includes the study of phase transitions of topological properties in random simplicial complexes.
