Simons Foundation Funds 12 Targeted Math and Physics Research Groups

As part of its mission to advance the frontiers of research in mathematics and the basic sciences, the Simons Foundation is pleased to announce the funding of 12 Targeted Simons Research Groups.
These three-year, collaborative projects will explore fundamental questions in math and physics such as the nature of dark matter, the properties of exoplanet clouds and the role of geometry and physics in shaping the morphology of life.
The groups will be funded by grants from Simons Foundation International administered by the Simons Foundation.
