Infinite Sums
A National Math Initiative
What if we could broaden our idea of what math is? Math is a fundamental element of the most beautiful things in our universe. It underpins all of science and is present in architecture, sports, fashion, music, art and more. Yet for many, math’s presence feels purely practical. Everyone knows math is useful but may not see its sublime beauty. Which makes sense: it takes time and practice to see its elegance.
About Infinite Sums

Through strategic partnerships, we’re building a new, national network of math ambassadors — individuals and institutions reshaping the field of math engagement.
Key Dates
Perhaps the most famous digits in all of mathematics, Pi has long been an inspiration for artists, filmmakers, educators and more. And we’re leaning into it with events nationwide.
The concept of infinity can be overwhelming to consider. Boundless opportunities. Endless possibilities. It’s also the namesake of this initiative!
