Chris Sohn, M.S.

Chris Sohn is a Data Specialist on the Bioinformatics team. He is responsible for the organization and documentation of data as well as the coordination of data sharing with various different researchers. His work involves preparing new datasets for release on SFARI Base as well as working on improvements for his team’s data on the Flatiron high-performance computing cluster.

Sohn joined the foundation in March 2025. Before joining the foundation, he worked in Alzheimer’s disease research at Washington University in St. Louis and worked as a bioinformatics scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim working in liver disease research. He holds a B.A. in Molecular Biology from Lehigh University and a M.S. in Bioinformatics from Johns Hopkins University.
