Simons Collaborations in Ecology and Evolution
The goal of the Simons Collaborations in Ecology and Evolution is to bring together small groups of outstanding scientists to drive a deep understanding of the dynamics of biological systems of interacting species. We are particularly interested in bold projects implementing novel approaches that may be considered too risky for other funding organizations. We therefore prioritize cross-disciplinary collaborations integrating levels of analysis, methodologies, ways of thinking and scientific communities. To enable innovative research, each collaboration will be funded for five years with the possibility of a five-year extension.
