Chihyu Chang, M.S.

Chihyu Chang is a Senior Bioinformatics Engineer on the Bioinformatics team at Simons Foundation, supporting large-scale genomic studies in autism and neuroscience collaboration cohorts. Her work focuses on whole genome sequencing analysis, return-of-results (RoR) workflows, genomic data release, and the development and refinement of bioinformatics pipelines and tools.

Chang joined the Foundation in 2025. Previously, she was a Senior Bioinformatics Engineer at LifeMine Therapeutics, where she developed and optimized bioinformatics pipelines for large-scale genomic data analysis. Chang holds an M.S. in Bioinformatics from New York University.
