Craig Wesley

Craig Wesley joined the Simons Foundation in March 2021. He leads the foundation’s STEM Pathways strategy to broaden the field of researchers in mathematics and the basic sciences to foster discovery, excellence, and innovation. Craig has worked in various employee engagement roles within the nonprofit and corporate sectors. Before joining the Simons Foundation, he served as Director of Strategic Engagement at National Urban Fellows, a leadership accelerator and talent pipeline for mid-career professionals committed to fairness, public service, and social impact. He has 20+ years of engagement experience as a thought leader and practitioner. Craig holds a BA (history and political science) from Purdue University and an MPA from Baruch College-City University of New York.
