Bio

David Abramovitch joined the Flatiron Institute Center for Computational Quantum Physics (CCQ) in September 2026 as a Flatiron Research Fellow. He is researching electron-phonon interactions in correlated materials using quantum embedding methods as well as first-principles many-body physics methods. Previously, he received a Ph.D. in applied physics from Caltech in 2026 where he was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and a B.A. in physics from UC Berkeley in 2021.
