Bio

Hannah Lange is a Flatiron Research Fellow at the Center for Computational Quantum Physics (CCQ) at the Flatiron Institute, which she joined in October 2026. Her research focuses on neural quantum states and machine-learning approaches to condensed matter physics, with a particular interest in strongly interacting fermionic multi-band lattice models. She received her Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Physics from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and her B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Konstanz. During her Ph.D., she was supported by a three-year scholarship from the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) from 2022 to 2025. She was also a recipient of the Deutschlandstipendium from 2017 to 2019.
