Wenchang Yang, Ph.D.

Wenchang Yang is an associate research scholar in the Department of Geosciences at Princeton University. He received his B.S and M.S. from Peking University and Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences from Columbia University. His research interests are climate dynamics, impact and modeling. Yang has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers, including articles in Science, Nature Climate Change and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. His work has been cited more than 2,000 times, and his Google Scholar h-index is 19. Yang has been funded by multiple organizations, including the National Science Foundation (NSF), NASA and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
