Sean O’Connor joined Informatics in 2017 as senior front-end engineer for project Vesta. He is a West Coast transplant and game-industry veteran who has worked on such titles as Sims and SimCity. Since moving to New York in 2014, O’Connor has worked for MakerBot and SoundCloud as a front-end engineer, specializing in React and Redux. While at SoundCloud, he extended the the company’s platform by creating web apps for Google Home, Chromecast, Amazon Alex and Android Wear. When not coding, he can be found wandering aimlessly around the nearest national park.
