Title: Quantum Algorithms for Quantum Simulation and Small Devices

Abstract: I will present some simple quantum algorithms to prepare the ground state and the corresponding energy of many-body Hamiltonians. One of them is based on a power method, similar to the one used in classical problems. The second one is heuristic and aims at optimizing computational resources in small quantum computers. I will also present a hybrid quantum-classical algorithm to solve 3SAT problems with small quantum computers that significantly speeds up its fully classical counterpart.
