Title: Methods for analysis of spatial transcriptomics data with application to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

Spatial genomics technologies enable new approaches to study how cells interact and function in intact multicellular environments but present a host of technical and computational challenges. To overcome some of the computational challenges, we have developed and validated a computational framework for the analysis of spatially resolved transcriptomics data. Using this computational framework we analyze a corpus of spatial transcriptomics (ST) data of spinal cords over the course of disease to characterize the underlying molecular mechanisms in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
