The Center for Computational Mathematics at Flatiron Institute, Simons Foundation, along with Travis Askham at NJIT and Jeremy Hoskins at UChiacgo are organizing a workshop entitled ‘Computational tools for PDEs with complicated boundaries and interfaces’.  Topics to be discussed at the conference include: integral equation formulations, high-order discretizations, fast solvers, PDEs on surfaces, volumetric representations for variable-coefficient PDEs, and applications to steady-state and time-dependent problems. The workshop is aimed at graduate students, postdocs, and practitioners who are interested in such methods: there will be hands-on tutorials for using efficient software, as well as an introduction to their mathematical foundations, and illustrations of their application in practice.

The workshop will take place at Flatiron Institute from June 10 through June 14, 2024. Please fill out the application form before Feb 29 if you are interested in attending.
