Control Theory & Neuroscience Workshop

Workshop Goals:

The goal of this three-day workshop is to bring together researchers in theoretical neuroscience and control theory to foster the exchange of ideas. Biologically evolved solutions to hierarchical and modular control problems can reveal novel design principles and inspire new control strategies. Conversely, control theory can help elucidate the hierarchical generation and compositional structure of perception, cognition, and behavior as well as the ubiquity of active elements and feedback loops in the brain across multiple spatio-temporal scales.
