Amitava Bhattacharjee, Ph.D.

Bhattacharjee joined the Center for Computational Astrophysics as a Senior Research Scientist in the Fall of 2022. He is a theoretical plasma physicist with research interests spanning laboratory (including fusion), astrophysical and space plasmas. He is the director of the Simons Collaboration on Hidden Symmetries and Fusion Energy. He is a fellow of the American Physical Society, the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Geophysical Union.
