Bio

Hao Shi joined the foundation in 2017 as a Flatiron research fellow at the Center for Computational Quantum Physics. Previously, Shi was a graduate student at the College of William and Mary, where he earned his Ph.D. in computational physics. His research focuses on the development and application of quantum Monte Carlo methods for strongly correlated quantum many-body systems. He is interested in studying high-temperature superconductivity, spin-orbit coupling, Fermi gas and quantum chemistry systems.
