Misha Padidar, Ph.D.

Misha joined the foundation in October 2024 as Flatiron Research Fellow at the Center for Computational Mathematics. His focus is the optimization and design of Stellarators, a fusion reactor. Prior to joining, Misha worked as a machine learning engineer at Uber, improving the rides pricing algorithm. Misha holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University and a B.S. from UC Santa Barbara in applied mathematics.
