Nikos Trikoupis

Systems Architect, SCC, Flatiron Institute

Nikos Trikoupis joined the Simons Foundation in 2016 to work in the design, planning, acquisition and operations of the scientific computing infrastructure for the Flatiron Institute. Trikoupis comes to the foundation from the City University of New York’s High Performance Computing Center, where he managed the architecture, deployment and operation of the center’s computing, networking and storage resources. Prior to this, he worked at CERN as a member of the IT department’s Communication Systems group, where he was responsible for the organization’s network service management and root-cause analysis infrastructure. He earned a B.S. in physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an executive M.B.A at the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne.
