Rudy Morel, Ph.D.

Rudy Morel joined the Center for Computational Mathematics (CCM) as a Flatiron Research Fellow in October, 2023. Rudy is interested in machine learning, with a specific focus on understanding transformers and developing compact models of them suitable for applications with limited data availability. Rudy earned his Ph.D. in applied mathematics from École Normale Supérieure in Paris. He also holds an M.Sc. in probabilities from Sorbonne University and a B.S. and an M.Sc. in pure mathematics from École Normale Supérieure of Rennes.
