Simons Society of Fellows

The Simons Society of Fellows is a community of scholars that encourages intellectual interactions across disciplines and research centers in the New York City area.

Senior Fellows

Senior Fellows are distinguished scientists based in New York City who provide mentoring and guidance to the Junior Fellows. They assist with the selection of Junior Fellows and meet and interact with them regularly at the Simons Foundation and through weekly dinners.

Junior Fellows

Junior Fellows are outstanding early-career scientists who have recently (within two years of appointment start date) completed their Ph.D. Fellows receive support from the foundation to conduct independent research for up to three years at a university in New York City, with no teaching obligations. Junior Fellows are expected to reside in the New York City area during the academic year.
