Alice Pisani, Ph.D.

Associate Research Scientist, Cosmology X Data, CCA, Flatiron Institute

Alice Pisani is an Associate Research Scientist in the Cosmology X Data Science group at CCA, with a joint position at Cooper Union. Alice earned her PhD at IAP and Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Sorbonne Universities). She received her undergrade and Master’s degrees at the University “Sapienza” of Rome. Alice also conducted research at the Italian National Institute of Astrophysics (INAF) and the Italian National Council of Research (CNR) in Rome, as well as the University of Oxford. Prior to joining CCA, Alice was a CPPM Post Doctoral fellow at Marseille, a Cotsen Fellow and Post Doctoral Research Associate at Princeton University, and most recently an Associate Research Scholar and Cotsen Fellow at Princeton University. She is the winner of the L’Oréal-UNESCO award FWIS 2016, AST (Italian Science and Technology Association) Scholarship, and has been invited to give many talks and seminars over the course of her career.
