Yilun Guan, Ph.D.
Flatiron Research Fellow, CCA
Yilun Guan is a cosmologist specializing in the theory and analysis of cosmic microwave background data. He focuses on developing new statistical techniques to analyze data from the Simons Observatory, both to enable precision cosmology and to extract new astrophysical observables, such as transient and variable sources. Before joining the Flatiron Institute as a Flatiron Research Fellow, he was a Schmidt AI in Science Fellow at the University of Toronto, and he completed his PhD in physics at the University of Pittsburgh.
