Bart Ripperda, Ph.D.

Flatiron Research Fellow, Center for Computational Astrophysics

Bio

Bart joined the Center for Computational Astrophysics as a Flatiron Research Fellow. He earned his Ph.D. from KU Leuven University, his Masters of Physics and his Masters of Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology. Bart has held visiting researcher positions at the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy and Columbia University. Prior to joining CCA, Bart worked on the Event Horizon Telescope Collaboration and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at Goethe University Frankfurt.
