Diego Kleiman, Ph.D.

Diego E. Kleiman joined the Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Biology in September 2026 as a Flatiron Research Fellow in the Structural and Molecular Biophysics and Biomolecular Design groups. Kleiman holds a B.S. in Physics from New York University Abu Dhabi and a Ph.D. in Biophysics and Quantitative Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he developed computational methods for adaptive sampling molecular dynamics simulations. His research focuses on modeling and designing protein dynamics.
