Bio

Jiuyang Liang joined the Center for Computational Mathematics (CCM) in October 2024 as an Affiliate Flatiron Research Fellow. Jiuyang’s research focuses on developing fast numerical algorithms and their high-performance implementations for large-scale molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo simulations. Jiuyang earned his Ph.D. from the School of Mathematical Sciences at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2023 and became an assistant research fellow there in the fall of 2023, with Professor Zhenli Xu as his mentor. Jiuyang also holds a B.S. from Zhiyuan College at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
