John Tian is a Flatiron Research Fellow in the Center for Computational Neuroscience’s Computational Vision group. He obtained his Ph.D. in computational and applied mathematics from the University of Chicago, where he studied under Brent Doiron. He is interested in representation learning and adaptation in the brain, particularly in the visual system.
