Bio

I joined the ICC as a Flatiron Research Fellow in September 2026. I received my Ph.D. in Chemistry from U.C. Berkeley, and my B.S. in Chemistry from National Autonomous University of Mexico.

In my Ph.D., I studied the dynamics of charge transfer and other non-adiabatic processes in complex condensed phase environments, with a particular focus on the electrochemistry of low-dimensional electrodes. Going forward, I am interested in the refinement and use of machine learning interatomic potentials in realistic applications relevant to catalysis, from heterogeneous gas-phase processes to photochemistry.
