Mathieu Renzo, Ph.D.

Flatiron Research Fellow, Stars and Compact Objects, CCA, Flatiron Institute

Mathieu Renzo joined the Center for Computational Astrophysics as a Flatiron Research Fellow. He works with the Compact Objects and Gravitational Waves groups at CCA. Mathieu earned his Ph.D. in Theoretical Astrophysics from the University of Amsterdam, and his MSc. and BSc. in Physics from the University of Pisa. Mathieu was previously a fellow at KITP UC Santa Barbara as well as a visiting researcher at Caltech. Mathieu will develop algorithms and codes for computational astrophysics, analyze large astronomy data sets, and develop research programs
