Tom Wagg joined the Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Astrophysics as a Pre-doctoral Fellow in September 2023. His work at the CCA focuses on designing a tool for performing self-consistent population synthesis and galactic dynamics simulations. He will apply this to constraining binary evolution by comparing simulations to massive star spatial distributions in Local Group galaxies with Julianne Dalcanton. Wagg is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Washington. He obtained his A.B. at Harvard University in physics and astrophysics.
